Marc-André Périard is Paramedic Chief and Emergency Services Director for the United Counties of Prescott and Russell. He has been in paramedicine since 1990, starting as a primary care paramedic in the Ottawa area. He then served the City of Ottawa as an Advanced care paramedic until moving to Prescott and Russell as a Supervisor. There he was given the opportunity to become Emergency Management Coordinator and then became Deputy Chief of QA. After moving over to Deputy Chief of Operations, he became Chief of Paramedics in October 2019 and served as a Board member for the OAPC. He has been a PCC board member since 2022, Vice President for the PCC from 2023 to 2025 and has assumed the role of President as of May 2025.
