The PCC provides educational webinars for the benefit of members and non-members. These webinars are hosted bi-monthly with the support of our partner, FirstWatch. Webinars are available to all interested Paramedic Services and are recorded and archived for later viewing by PCC Members from the website. These webinars are educational in nature with a focus on leadership and research. The webinars also provide a platform for sharing information on emerging infectious diseases, issues impacting Paramedicine, and to showcase unique initiatives Paramedic Services may be implementing across the country.

Who will be speaking?
Dr. Rory A. Marshall is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Michigan Medicine and a practicing paramedic with British Columbia Emergency Health Services. Across his career, he has worked in diverse frontline and leadership roles with BCEHS, Alberta Health Services, the Belize Emergency Response Team, and Hato Hone St John. His research focuses on the intersection of paramedicine, intimate partner violence (IPV), and brain injury, with an emphasis on improving survivor-centered care, education, policy, and inter-agency collaboration. Dr. Marshall’s work has contributed to some of the first empirical studies examining how paramedics recognize, respond to, and support patients experiencing IPV, helping advance the role of paramedicine within public health and violence prevention initiatives.
