The Global Paramedic Leadership Alliance brings together a firm commitment between Paramedic leadership associations from the UK, Canada, America and Australasia to share best practice and research across a wide range of topics and to ensure that mental health stigma is mitigated across the pre-hospital care arena.
The Global Paramedic Leadership Alliance (GPLA) comprises the chair of the International Roundtable on Community Paramedicine and leaders from the following:
- Association of Ambulance Chief Executives (UK & Ireland)
- Council of Ambulance Authorities (AUS/NZL/PNG)
- National EMS Management Association (USA)
- Paramedic Chiefs of Canada (CAN)
The GPLA’s purpose is to identify and act upon areas where there is perceived benefit in working together and sharing best practice internationally.
Outputs from the GPLA Summit in March are available here, and you can read the GPLA Strategic Intent here.
