Abstract: The Renfrew Community Paramedic Program; Mobilized Health Care in Rural Canada | 23 March 2011

Consistent with the EMS Chiefs of Canada Key Public Policy Objective 4.6; “While maintaining core service excellence, EMS must pursue innovation and new models of service delivery to meet community-defined needs. Collaboration of EMS and community organizations such as primary health care providers, social service agencies, and public safety groups will enable innovative initiatives that have the potential to improve the level of health care within a community.” Chief Nolan will present the County of Renfrew Paramedic Service Community Paramedic Program.

Objectives of this session:
