The Future of EMS in Canada – Defining and Embracing a Clear Core Identity

What Will We Be Discussing?

In 2006 the EMSCC released a White Paper titled “The Future of EMS in Canada: Defining the New Road Ahead”. In that paper were six key strategic directions that would enable positive and controlled movement toward EMS being at the centre of the community, providing primary health care in a mobile setting. This presentation explains the strategy to define and embrace a clear core identity in terms of branding the name “paramedic”.
