We hope your Paramedic Services Week is off to a great start! This year’s theme, ‘We Care. For Everyone’ depicts the diverse roles that Paramedics play in an ever-changing environment, from community paramedicine to preventative healthcare, Paramedics stand ready to respond to challenges whenever they are needed.
We hope that you will join us in recognizing the below themes each day of Paramedic Services week this year.
- Tuesday, May 20: EMS Safety Day
- Wednesday, May 21: EMS for Children Day
- Thursday, May 22: Save-A-Life Day
- Friday, May 23: EMS Recognition Day
- Saturday, May 24: EMS Remembrance Day/Canadian Paramedic Memorial Foundation (CPMF) Paramedic Monument | Fundraising for the Canadian Paramedic Monument
But first we’re asking Paramedics themselves. Some paramedics have already made donations to the monument via the Tour Paramedic Rides, but now is the time for us all to step up so that other donors can see how important this project is to our community.
