The PCC Awards of Excellence are awarded to any person (or team) who has developed and implemented an EMS process, method, or program that demonstrates extraordinary achievement within the last three years.
The three categories that will be considered in 2026 include:
- Award of Excellence for a Quality Workplace
- Award of Excellence for an Innovative Treatment or Technology
- Award of Excellence for a Client Centered Initiative
The person or team shall be nominated by the care providers and Paramedic Leaders in Canada. Nominations are evaluated on the information provided in the nomination submission.
The call for nominations closes at 1700 (EST) on April 8th, 2026.

Nominees who are among the highest scorers overall will be awarded this prize. In the event a group is awarded the PCC Award of Excellence, only one member of the group will be awarded. Each winner will be provided one registration and two nights hotel accommodations at the PCC Leadership Summit 2026 June 3rd-5th, 2026 in Calgary, Alberta. Travel expenses are the responsibility of the winner(s).
