Institute for Safe Medication Practices Canada (ISMP Canada) has launched a new live virtual workshop on Incident Analysis and Proactive Risk Assessment for Paramedicine!
This 1.5-day live virtual workshop teaches paramedics the following:
Day 1: How to investigate patient safety incidents in health care with a system-level approach (incorporates human factors engineering principles) using root cause analysis.
Day 2: How to identify potential failures in a system and redesign processes to mitigate risk using failure mode and effects analysis.
Dates for the workshop are Aug 26 & 27, Oct 1 & 2, or Nov 19 & 20.
