Gerard Dinn is the Chief of Yukon Emergency Medical Services. Gerard provides leadership and strategic direction for some of the most rural remote and challenging environments in North America.
During his thirty plus year career he has held positions as EMS Educator at QEII Health Science Center in Halifax and Clinical Coordinator with Holland College in PEI. He as held positions as a frontline ACP, Quality Control Medic and Medical Death Investigator. In addition held position of Deputy Chief, Technical Operations for Yukon EMS.
He has served on many committees and boards with in Paramedic Services across Canada. In 1999-2001 Gerard played a key role in the development and implementation of EMS education for EHS Trinidad and Tobago.
Gerard holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in math and physics and Engineering diploma from St. Frances Xavier University and has completed both ACP and CCP programs.
